Trading (exchange and order execution)
Buy, sell, and swap:
trading fees are currently calculated as 1.00% of the euro (EUR) equivalent of the transaction value for instant orders (market, at the best available price), recurring orders (repeated over time at the chosen frequency), or fixed-price orders (limit, executed only if the price reaches the specified level), as detailed in the applicable fee disclosure.
Did you know?
Trading through wallets and exchanges can easily result in total costs between 2% and 4%. Moreover, many operators apply hidden or implicit fees that are not clearly disclosed to the client.
Deposits
Euro (EUR) and crypto deposits are unlimited and free of charge. Deposits are not permitted for Electronic Money Tokens, i.e. crypto-assets classified as electronic money under EU regulation (such as USDC), as CheckSig is not a payment institution.
Euro (EUR) deposits are made via bank transfer to Italian IBAN accounts. Crypto deposits can be assisted by our team; such assistance does not replace the client’s responsibility for verifying transaction details, addresses, and network compatibility.
Withdrawals
Withdrawals are unlimited.
Euro (EUR) withdrawals cost €1.00 and are executed instantly where possible, otherwise within one business day. Crypto withdrawals are free of charge net of network fees.
Withdrawals are not permitted for Electronic Money Tokens, i.e. crypto-assets classified as electronic money under EU regulation (such as USDC), as CheckSig is not a payment institution.
Remember: You are free to withdraw all your funds at any time.
Custody and account maintenance
Custody fees are charged monthly, with a minimum fee of €10 if the service is used.
For the relevant month, fees are calculated as a percentage of the euro (EUR) equivalent, at the end-of-month exchange rate, of the average value of crypto-assets held in custody.
The applicable percentage decreases for marginal increases in assets under custody, according to progressive tiers as specified in the official fee disclosure.
No custody fees are due when there are no balances.

Custody with Staking
Staking
Placing crypto-assets held in custody with CheckSig into staking is free of charge, with no time or amount constraints.
Reward accrual typically begins approximately two days after the staking instruction. For significant amounts and/or depending on the technical conditions of the underlying blockchain networks, accrual timelines may be longer.
Rewards are typically credited around the 15th of each month or the next business day, subject to the technical timelines of the relevant networks.
CheckSig charges a fee equal to one third (1/3) of the euro (EUR) equivalent of the staking reward, calculated at the reference exchange rate (00:00 UTC of the day of the reward), in addition to standard custody fees, as detailed in the applicable disclosures.
If explicitly chosen by the client and where applicable under Italian tax law, CheckSig may act as tax withholding agent (administrative regime), and applicable tax withholdings are charged to the client’s euro (EUR) balance.
Unstaking
Removing crypto-assets from staking and returning them to simple custody is free of charge, with no time or amount constraints.
Reward accrual is suspended from the day the unstaking instruction is given. Availability of the crypto-assets in simple custody occurs according to the technical timelines of the relevant platform.
Subject to liquidity availability and at its sole discretion, CheckSig may offer instant unstaking, with a fee equal to 1.00% of the euro (EUR) equivalent of the crypto-assets, calculated at the reference exchange rate (00:00 UTC of the day of the request).
