Ferdinando Ametrano

The workshop instructor: Ferdinando Ametrano.

A physicist by training with over twenty years of experience in investment banking and quantitative finance, Ferdinando made Bitcoin the focus of his work since 2014. Formerly Head of Blockchain at Intesa Sanpaolo, he now leads CheckSig as CEO and the Digital Gold Institute as scientific director.

Research and Academic Commitment.

A pioneer in industry education, he directs the Crypto Asset Lab at the University of Milano-Bicocca, where he holds the Bitcoin and Blockchain Technologies course. His international contribution is consolidated by his role on the organizing committee of the Scaling Bitcoin conference.
